Day 1 Oct 3
Typhoon coming up earlier 2 days and stuck.
No body knows how it affects flight and other all transportation. Neither did I until the day.
Luckily, we did took same flight and just an hour delayed, then arrived San Francisco smoothly. God bless.
I am not sure hotel shuttle time table and no answer from booking message checked, and it was late after we done luggage picked up.
That’s just fine uber and simply did. Money save most things.
Not mentioned jet lag or something else reason, i was tired after solve hair dryer weird (or simple) broken issue, but just fall asleep few hours and waked up suddenly. Fine, let it go.
Day 2 Oct 4
It’s the first time to feel how it calls 「美國時間」. The shuttle bus not follow up time table but no one complains. People just accepted it, and it directly affect my time planning, we got lost in airport when looking for car rental center and stay in line for long time on sixty counter…finally got car after leaving hotel 2 hours.
I am cheeky to contact school junior even we never contact after graduation and it’s been 15 years in order to arrange Google headquarters visiting. But it worth to see familiar people in unfamiliar environment. Thank you for hosting and we never feel pity to see each other and in here.
Day 3 Oct 5
Soon end stays in San Francisco, took domestic airline to Las Vegas, and…flight delayed all people stuck on airplane, tired at all.
Arrived Las Vegas later than expectation, surprised by casino all over when through gates, and got lost in airport again. I shouldn’t expect i can handle shuttle bus in that time, it’s easy to call uber…if the location is easily identified.
Thought for while that finally aware The Palazo is belong to Venetian but different hotel! Considering tour gathering point in the next day, really exhausted physical mental strength to get ready it.
But Lily is exciting for whole night for Sphere view. The room rate is worth for it. No doubt of it.
Day 4-5 Oct 6-7
Gathering time on 6:10 it’s really challenge. And you can know still earlier to wait for sunrise.
We joint local tour though you can take van. I am used to it after i backed from Tibet. But it still torture you need to wake up early and sleep late.
View is awesome and it worth to come (but it ‘s really expensive for travel cost), photos tell everything. We met Taiwaness couple, and had chat in the 2nd day. To be honest, to speak Chinese in other country and no one knows, you can say everything, the feel is…hard to explain.
Harrah hotel is the cheapest one on Vegas staying but it seems valuable than its price position.
Day 6 Oct 8
Finally it got time that allowed people to waked up lately, but i was trance to mess up check out time not 12:00, hurry to finished it by 11:00. Not big deal.
It’s simple plan to shopping on outlet, actually no shopping list before arrival, seems like everything fine nothing bad, but just buy it. Until almost forgot ROUGH show, we were on time including dinner done.
The show is interesting but sorry my poor english not carry on host’s small talk and even dirty hits, so every time the atmosphere goes high due to dance performance than it goes down when it comes the talk. Hard to recommend it if someone asked.
The planet Hollywood hotel did worse ending of this day, we found room entrance light out of function, there is no hot water when i took shower, and even sand appearance awfully. If it’s not the 4-star we will forgive it, if it was.
Day 7 Oct 9
Nice Buffett and hotel at Wynn, to ignore the cost, you really relax and ease here. And it’s impressive to see Mclaren shop inside!
It’s been a long time to see show which perform by cirque du soleil-KA show. You need to experience by yourself not only search website comment.
Day 8 Oct 10
Regretting to left Las Vegas, the city like dream area, you can image anything and enjoy it. You live in the plenty house but surrounded by desert.
Southwest on time and we arrival LA as expectation. Arrival LA and it’s Lily’s turn. She is preparing for a long time, long time wish list. Though i am going to shopping mall, that’s the origin plan.
Treat myself well. Let Lily dinner with her friend alone, and drunk.
Day 9 Oct 11
It’s simply day. Walk around near Hotel, take rest and have lunch then stay in hotel for 小米 visiting. The hotel not worth for Hollywood sign view, maybe is it the normal cost for living on LA?
i guessed i am scared by terrible thing in Universal studio Halloween Horror Night, but I wasn’t. To smile and say hello for safety keep distance between scary and me, i feel safer. But i was tired after staying in line and socialized talking.
End of the day close to 4am.
Day 10 Oct 12
Tired all the time. Thanks for Lily's friend as local host to carry on planning, hmm… seems like planning.
It’s interesting to pass through Belvery Hill and known luxury brands street. The world lives in the movie but it shows in your present.
Time to back to TW, i got cold anyway.
